Long time reader, few questions

I have read and learned from this site for some time now and looked for the answers online but cant seem to find out

This is my first grow (well i did it before but they died) and I want to know if I can put my plant into the flowering stage, to test see if it is male or female, then switch the lights BACK onto 24/7 and re-veg the plant?

Its just i grew this from a seed and dont know if it is male or female, i could clone it and put the clone into flower?

also, I have noticed a slow in growth. I only have one CFL on it and t7 blue floro
does it need more light?
should i just leave it alone and let it grow?

also, I am using soil. HOW important is it that i start using plant fertalizer?

like most im sure, funds are low so im trying to see if this is just a bust or if i should keep going

Why switch back, unless you going to get a bigger pot, and want a monster, which you wont have lights for ,it is ready to flower. If on a budget I would add 2 65w CFL's (300w eq $15 @ home depot or lowes. As far as nuts, what kind of soil are you using?

Yes, you can sex it and then switch it back to veg. I just did it with sum NL

I just put it into that bigger black pot..... and wanted to grow it bigger but dont wanna waste another month of electricity and time for it to turnout to be male anyway so i was wondering if there i could sort of cheat and get a sneak peak at wat sex it was

I have lightbulbs just no lamps!
i have been looking for light bulb Y converters you know? so i can plug two bulbs into a single lamp


My "ideal" plan was to grow it for a few more weeks til i get paid, purchase a 150watt or 250 watt HPS and use that to flower it.

HOW MUCH MORE POT WILL GROW IF I FLOWER WITH HPS INSTEAD OF JUST STICKIN WIT FLORO??

Here's somethig to chew on. Top that sumbitch, clone the top. In around 10 days you maybe can sex it. Males are bad, but mabe invest in a couple more flo lites, better soil, etc. It will help your veg stage. If its a female, then you want a hps lite. It makes a difference with your buds.

The problem with growing it bigger is under CFL, you will need allot of side lighting, since CFL has a very short range. Even a 250w HPS will not penatrate the cannopy of a Large Plant to get to the bottom buds.
I picked up a bunch of the light splitters at Home Depot or about $2.50 each.
I currently Veg under 2 65w 2700k CFL's, 2 42w 6400k CFLS, 4 55w 6400k. Then Flower under 1000wHPS and 4 65w 2700k CFL.

I forgot to tell ya to turn the lites to 12/12 , sorry i'm stoned
