Hello everyone this is going to be my grow journal. On here i will provide what i do to make this hydro clone grow and bud from the minute i get it till it gets smoked. Pictures and video will be shown as well to help!

Currently at the moment im waiting to recieve my clone. I made a deal with the devil to get a hydro clone so thats what im going to be growing. The type of dro it is im not sure of but i know its dank.

I have no experience in the art of growing plants so I'm hopeing i can get some help from others, and hopefully my recordings will help others and future plans.

well to start the only supplies i know i might i have to get is: foxfarm nutrients along with some seaweed extract and molasses.
I'm still researching what kind of containers i should use, lights, etc.

This is the place to put all of your questions. You have started three thread all about the same thing. Every time you start a new thread you are wasting our time and yours. If you post a question in your journal it will come up as a new post, the size of the thread will grow and folks can follow what is happening. Should i use the same light when i first get the clone for its hole growing process?
Or do i need to get different lights for the stages its in or something?

When considering your hydro system, also consider the costs of the nutrients. I have used the deep water culture and found that wasted alot of nutes. I am now in a passive hydro system that has little if any waste. The downfall of this system is it seems to have slower growth rate than the dwc, but I am willing to live with that. My system is a 13"x10"x8"h container with 3" of rockwool slab in the bottom. The plants are in 4" rockwool cubes and are spaced out in the container. The roots will grow into the bottom of the container. Watering is on average every three days. Water enough so there is one inch of water in the bottom of the container. When it dries up, water again. You can top or bottom water. So far this has worked good for me, but next time I will use moss instead of rockwool for the grow medium. I have one plant in moss and it has been more stable, as far as ph levels.

CFL's through vegative growyh, then HPS for flower works well. I use HPS throughout. If you can only afford one light system, use HPS.

hey little wizard, thanx for pointing out something I hadn't thought of. I do see the reasoning for it. Usually what I do when I log onto the forum is click on new posts. Everything posted, no matter what the forum title, will come up as new posts, and I try to read thru them to see if there is any information I find useful or to see if there is a question I can help with. Used to be maybe 10 pages, now its 20 almost everyday. I don't even read which forum, subject it is. All of yours happened to be on one page, so it was pretty obvious. I never thought about mulitiple poster trying a different subject forum to get a response from a different audience. I don't think I am unique, I think that is probably true for most of us. Its a little different from a chat room. You will normally get a response in a day, if not its ok to bump your own thread once, just put Bump in the title. We have days off sometimes to, we are not trying to ignore your questions. Keep it easy for us, you will like the results, I will quarantee you will get responses.
Now you might want to take a look at My Current Setup: Journal. There is some information there about t-5 lighting and it benefits for growing. Yes you can use cfl's or regular flourescent for the first couple of weeks, get the 6500K bulbs for that stage. This gives you time to do some more research, read some journals etc. VV

Thanks for all the information Victorvicous and papajock, i appreciate it. I've been spending most of my spare time looking at journals, grow faq etc.

Me and my girlfriend just planted some plants in some pots we picked up from wal mart in some off brand miracle grow. Its just seeds from some mids not the dro clones. Im still waiting to get all the materials before i get that clone. I'll have some pictures of these mids tommarow. We might clone these mids too not sure yet on all that.

I'll probaly have the dro clone before the end of the week though, i convinced 2 of my friends to put in some bones to help out as long as i grow them a plant lol. So right now we are trying to figure out whats the best materials to get but I'm pretty sure we might go with this "earth box" idea.

I took some pictures of the plant with my shitty camera phone so i hope it turns out good enough to see. This is just a plant we grew from some mids (THIS IS NOT THE DRO CLONE just a practice for now).

This plant is a little dirty because it was in the ground in the backyard and i guess got shocked but my girlfriend saved it cuz shes great like that.

we also mixed some miracle grow with water in a spray bottle and fed them that.

i guess the other images that where attached didn't work but these seem to work. tell me what you guys think. (reminder: not the dro clone just a practice from mids)

When you spray the leafs, it has to be at lights out or it will burn the leafs. I would check the ph of the run off of the watering. Looks like it may be high. There will also be a shock to the plant from moving it from outside to the inside. Good luck.
