does anyone know any solution to get rid of these little flies around my plant? i heard something about using vinegar and water? any help is appreciated
get some sand at the local TSC or Farm and Fleet and lay 1-3 inches on top of the soil, that kills the bugs. or just dont water for a week and they will die when the soil dries out.
if you want to look further into it they are called gnats or white flies. Sand works, neem works as well. They aren't a huge problem for adult plants, but I've lost hundreds and hundreds of seedlings from them.
your watering too much. the soil is staying way to moist. Water every 4 to 6 days depending on need. Use the above to get ride of em now and use the pot weight rule to water when needed. Pick the pot up after watering. Notice weight of pot. pick it up about 3 or 4 days later. When if feels light water. knats gone. Start using ffOceanforest soil if you dont already.
