Limiting Verticle Growth HELP!

So here is my dilema...
Im in my first grow, indoor 4x4 closet 400W, soil from clones.
I started with 3 clones (Purple 1 that tends to grow taller), and was waiting a week for 3 more to take root. However there was an issue with the new clones so i had to wait 3 weeks to get the second set, So now i have 3 buetiful ladys that are around 2 ft and 3 new babys that r just starting out. I am keeping the 3 older ones in veg so i can flower all together. BUT they are getting to tall! is there a way to stop the verticle growth on the 3 older ones so the new girls can catch up?
Thanks any help would be appreciated

Im guessing they CAN slow down if they get root bound. Smaller container would do the trick but that would mean transplant and shock (which in your case can also slow down growth).

You can also trim them, I guess but I dont think that would be too good of an idea.

I hope this helps
