lights?

i have a question i wanna run 2-3 1000x hps set ups never grown indoors only outdoors how much would my bill increase? thanks fellow tokers

find out how much you pay per kilowatt hour and that's how much it's gonna cost you to run each light for one hour. Also add up all the other electrical devices that you will be using.

I've heard 25-35 more a month quoted for a 600w thats on 18/6

like the first poster said.. if you run 3 1k lamps, all you do is check your bill to see how much you are getting charged per kwh, killowatt hour.. say it is $.15 per kwh, all you have to do is mutiply the 3k watts for your lamps times the 15 cents per hour charge and you will come up with 45 cents an hour to run them.. 45 cents times 18 hours a day to veg will give you $8.10 a day to run three one k lamps at a cost of 15 cents a kwh.. you just have to find out what your company is charging you per kwh and follow what i did above and you will know exactly how much it will run you, per hour, per day, per month, or however you want to break it down..

if you are from cali then its gonna cost you i run 1600w at a cost of about 400 on top of my regular household bill. Pge run whats called a 4 teir system where your rate starts at say 11cents then after say 500 KWh it raises to 16 for the next 500 KWH and so on till you hit the top teir which in my area is like 44 cents an hour, and most of your time is spent in this range. I'm not sure of the rates or hours there on your bill or availble at PGE site. It aint cheep but its fun
