Lights on or off?

So i've done my fair share of research into growing, harvesting, and curing... I've come all this way and now I have that one issue that i've been wondering all along... Do I dry it with lights on or off? Does it matter? Does it have to be dark for the chlorophyl to begin to die when I begin to dry it, or does it help get rid of the last bits of nutrients? Do the starches break down into sugars if the lights are on?

once you make the chop you want to hang dry them in a reasonably cool, dry and dark place. light can degrade the potency of the herb. dark is the answer. a little light isnt bad, and to be honest i have dried herb in light areas ans it was fine. but if you have a dark place go with that.
