Lightproofing pc fans

hey im buying a full tower pc case, which is pretty big, and putting in as many 42 watt 2700k bulbs i can fit, inbetween the bulbs and plants im putting a sheet of glass, and there is fans above the lights so they will stay cool, but how can i lightproof those pc fans without restricting air flow? im not worried about me exaust fans beacuse they will have carbon filters, its just the intakes?

Might wanna find some of that thin black foam... check ebay. They may have exactly what your looking for. Good luck

someone on here posted a guide to doing this with popcans and cardboard. he cut the pop cans into strips and made a spiral out of them on end on the cardboard, that way the air blows in the middle of the spiral and flows throughout. i'm sure u could find it if you search for it for a better description

I have tried to put a pc fan on a carcon filter, it does not work. they are easily disturbed by static friction, even putting a PVC elbow on it to light proof it will slow down the cfm's like 30%

uhm, lots of people on here have carbon filters that work well with pc fans... that wasnt the question though.
