Can you veg with HPS??

Technically, you can bring seedlings into 12/12 under an hps and finish them, yes. But is it going to produce desirable results? No. Proper vegetation is needed to develop plants properly. Technically, you can finish a plant under a single cfl, 26 watts. What will the plant look like?? Well, go figure.

You CAN. But HPS makes plants shorter, and denser. They won't stretch, but they will be bulky little plants, with super dense nugs.
