Reptile lights dont work. 3 inches in 2 weeks isnt right. why not invest in some cfl's? very cheap and effective if utilized right.

Reptiles lights are far too cool. Not much usable light for the plants. Def wont flower a plant. Like he said, get a few cfls.

I started Growing When I was Super Poor I just Used The Light from the Window for the first couple weeks of my plants life they were too small to be noticed during which I used the time to accumulate some decent cfl's for about 8$ a pop The sockets, Cords ect..I just bought when i could then I threw it all together and still been upgrading slowly..Window light works great when their small and can be concealed till you upgrade :)

Sounds like a sure upgrade from what you were using, what are you using for a timer? Just curious :)

You can get them up to 42w or (150-200w equivalent) I think I Saw at Wally World. Shop around Make sure you get a good mix of "Daylight" and "Warm" Lights:)
