You should be asking what wattage light do you need for a certain square footage. You could have one huge plant in a space or a small one.
Determine what size space you have to work with and then you can determine the appropriate lighting. Aim for 35 watts per square ft with a high quality light or 50 watts per square ft with sub par lights. Good luck!
