lighting time?

What would be the difference of growing in 24 hr for veg and 12/12 hr for flowering than 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flowering? is one faster or one better. Also wat would be better for faster crop, i want to have a goodenough in the least amount of time

I was wondering this also, my 3 plants are currently about 9 days old and they have been on 24/7.
