lighting question

say i bought 10 26watt 100watt equivalent cfl's and had on had 5 26watt light fittings and 5 "y" light bulb slitters would the 2 26watts in the splitter be too much for the 26watt fitting its in ?

Think about this for a second.
A standard light socket can use a 150w incandescent and you're using 2-26w bulbs.
I use a Y with 2 Ys screwed into that and run 4 bulbs.112w total.
