lighting question...

I have a small plant that's in flowering. It was growing in my back yard, but we have a hurricane hitting us right now so I put it in a pot and brought it inside. I have it in my basement right now, under 2 fluorescent tube lights about 48" long and I'm just leaving the light on 24/7...

Is that a bad idea? Should I just put it next to the window and let it get regular sunlight that way or would it be better for it under the 24/7 light?

If its flowering allreay you should go 12/12 with the lights and use the outdoor widow as a guide. If the sun is up at 6 turn your lights on at 6 then go dark with some kind of cover at 6pm. Use the sun and the lights. Maybe a trash can with a very small fan to keep moisture down would work. Or a big ass box. Im sure it wont be long till she can go back out?

nah she'll be back out in 3 days max... I just didn't want to fuck the plant up using these lights to keep it alive...

Thanks for the info

You should still go 12/12. light stressing the plant may cause hermaphrodite plant. fluorescent works fine , just go 12/12.
