Lighting information

Hey I am brand new to this site and am thinking about growing for the first time. I want to get everything I need before I start germinating. So anyway my question is about lighting, I want to know how much I lighting I need for just a small grow op. I am going to be using two rubbermaid containers on top of each other to grow in. Right now I have 2 CFLs that use 25 watts of energy and 1830 lumers. I just need some advise on the subject because I dont know anything about lights or spectrums.

Say if you want to have about 2 plants right, then you would need about 60-80Watts each so i'd say about another 6 lights and your set.

i have a similar set-up with a flood plant light. and 2 n:vision buls 100 ans 120 watt.
