Hey guys, i have everthing ready for my 600w hps sog grow, but i decided i dont want to split my grow box in two for the vegging mothers. Rather im going to have the whole box full of flowering kush, and a seperate small box for my mothers. I only have seeds right now and i was thinkin about raising them with the 600w hps but i figured i'd want them to keep them with the same lighting(which i need advice on) and just save my 600w for after i make the clones. I plan on narrowing my mothers down to three, and just maintaining them with trimming to keep their size small. Is there a certain kind of light that would be good for the mothers to give them good health, but not force them to do any major growing, any advice will be appreciated, thanks

floro tubes work the best imo. you will just be eating up your power bill with that 600watt keep it for the flowering cycle

i use floro tubes. cfls work well also. you might want to consider just making your mother room bigger and using it as a veg room aswell. could potentially double your harvest.

Alright thanks guys for the input. Iv been lookin into some lighing and it seems that the t5 would be my best bet for the blue spectrum and fairly cheap to run
