Currently running 600w.
looking on switching to 1000w.

I have a 1.2m2 tent.

Could I run a 1000w in my tent without having heat problems.
What size fan would you recommend ? Intake/outtake

thanks

I would buy another 600 . and that's double the area of a 1000 will cover . and two 600 are much easier to cool then a single 1000 with closed hoods. I used to run 1000 watt lamps only reason I got rid of those 1k lamps were heat problems . major decrease in cooling needs with the 600. and two 600 would run a single 1000 cfm will be more then plenty of air running through the hoods.

I agree, Doubling the 600w is so much easier and you wouldnt have the problems if you upgrade to a 1000w

Thanks for the replys, was thinking about running 2x600 , just didn't want to have two ballast running at same time.

But if the 600s will cover more space & with less heat issues , ill go with that.
i have digital ballast, so I can set them too 400w on each if it does get too hot .

thanks
