lighting at end of grow

hi this is sparkage

I have an auto flower called trans siberian it says to leave it in the dark
48 to 72 hours 2 to 3 days before harvest.....


I have left it for 2 days know in the dark with some fans on i figured it would
like some air movment, thought it would help to maybe prevent any mold
from starting... the buds have frosted up like someone has sprinkled surgar on them BUT HERE IS MY QUESTION !!!!!!!!


( can i reck the plant or what i really mean is CAN YOU LEAVE YOUR PLANT IN THE DARK TO LONG )

two days looks good maybe three days will be better ????????

leave it too long it will die and mould. i have heard that cannabis produces a lot of the resin at night so by giving it 2 days in the dark at the end it should increase the resin /terpene profile of the plant, personally i would leave it until the pot is dry then harvest, but before it wilts obviously.

thanks for the input, we desided to go the 72 hours and call it good, cant wait to finish hanging and cureing maybe we can try alittle bit when cutting but will wait atleast
two weeks in jars to give it the real test thanks again sparkage maybe i'l post some pic's cola is 12 inchs long and 3 to 4 inchs round

if u want to sample it little faster u can clip a bud off the plant that is hanging then take a needle and pass a tread tho it and hang it alone ....about 2 days u can try it gets better with curing but u get a idea

i always do this to make the choice if i want to keep clip and trim the stuff or just shave it off and make hash or hash butter
