Hey i am going to be growing in a 4x4x5.5 with a 400watt mh hortilux bulb. I was going to have an exhaust and intake fan with ducting. How do i stop light from getting inside the grow room during the dark periods? Thanks if anyone can help.

A bit confused, but Mylar always does the job as far as containing/blocking light. Are you worried about the light getting through the holes you've made for ducting?

Yes that is what i am worried about. It also does not seem like i have much room for bending my ducting in that small grow tent.

You already said what I would have said. I would say to put a couple of bends in the ducting. If that won't work, is there any way to install a deflector of some sort on the outside of the grow chamber? If so, you could aim that deflector away from the light source in the room, eliminating MOST of the light. I would post a pic. Post a pic and someone will immediately be able to look at your setup and tell you what you need.
