Light Spectrum

I've gotten my self confused. I'll most likely be going with lights, either T5 or CFL. I can't remember what and where I read what color spectrum to use at what stages or if there is one I can use through the grow cycle.

Ok so this is what I figure, if I get a 4 foot 4 bulb T5HO fixture and get as close as I can to 6000K bulbs I should be all set?
