Light spectrum and Autoflower growth.

Ive done some research and realized that during the summer,on some of the hottest days, the spectrum output of the sun is from 7000K to 13000K at peak. this is of course further north along the same areas as mid north Russia. where auto flowers have said to been found, also northern Nepal regions.

so during the growth phase of an auto flower plant, I think it may be good idea to a 10000K light to your grow space. maybe even use them in veg for photo strains..

this is a theory.. based on observations of nature.

The K in the light is not as important as once thought look for a bulb with an even color spectrum thats more important than any thing else i run the Hortilux Blue MH only these days full cycle and have amazing results veg, flower, and in all of my breeding projects Genius has a blue MH thats pretty good and there is a big push in the double ended market to make a full spectrum bulb at the moment so keep an eye out for one to hit the market soon but so far the Hortilux MH Blue is my go to bulb

could just add 10k led cobs for supplemental lighting

i have noticed they prefer the blue's and whites in flower more so than veg its like they are a bit backwards from photo's blue = veg red = flower doesnt seem to totally apply

i noticed this running a bloom and veg ( same wattage and led count ) ufo right next to each other in my box the plants would reach for the veg ufo but it was really only noticeable preflower stretch / early flower

The blue spectrum realy makes them buds fill out in flower pepole are now comming up with more info just like what you did with your ufos and we are now realizing how important the blue is in flower

Just a funny thought, but I wonder if some day the LED's will run more red in the morning, more blue in the day and more red at evening..

they have programmable panels that do that already ..... they allow you to tweak the spectrum ... its been a while i cant remember off the top of my head but i have seen a computer program that does the dusk to dawn and what not

An aerogarden led hood no specs but I'm only doing 1 white widow XXL in it the other 14 seeds I receive will be a guerilla grow
just because aerogarden light sux for more than 1
