light question

when do i change the light from mh to hps when i change the light cycle?

mh is commonly used for the vegative stage, the hps is used for flowering, so i guess yes if your going 24/0, 20/4 or whatever for veg, then when you switch to 12/12 is when you would use your hps

What sort of hps have you got? A lot of HPS have some dual spectrum in them. When I was running one light I would use the MH for the first couple of weeks of 12/12. As a tip, take an extra week to reduce your light schedule down to 12/12 by cutting an hour of light a day. By the time you hit 12/12 you will already have pre flowers showing. I currently use a 2:1 ratio in flower HPS:MH.
