Light Question

I have a question i have a light i think its 160 watt or 220 watt from a gecko i used to have and it is a heat light and is suppose to be the sun for the gecko. the brand is sun glo do you think i could use this for a few plants or not?

It wouldn't be worth it. since most light dissipates substantially over a very short distance(less than 6 inches) unless it is a CFL(I doubt it) then it will put out way too much heat to have it that close to your plants.

Drew, it depends entirely on which lamp you have. Sun Glo make daylight bulbs for terraniums that can also be used for plant growth - but it does depend on which one you have.
