Light proof grow tents

I'm not sure any are totally light tight, idk maybe Gorilla is. My two year old Apollo never was and never will be but, it's good enough for a room in my basement. I think most of the cheepies are all about the same.
If anyone thinks their tent is light-proof, check it in the dark with your lights on in the tent.

Where do you see the most light leaks coming from the zipper or bent flange? Is it something with a
Little modifying you could get rid of the lift leaks

get a tent and then take the reflective tape they sell for tents and tape off all the zipper parts, then get in it and look for more leaks and then patch with tape. If it's in a closet or a unoccupied room then it doesn't really matter just keep the room it's in dark. There's some really cheap ones out there so def look around. Cheaper made don't last forever, have shittier zippers etc. just take the money buy some wood, panda film etc and make something

Some from the zippers, some from the tent itself. Nothing big enough to mess with. I leave a bottom panel open 24/7, even all through flower. I tend to agree w/ brim, from what I've experienced myself as far as hermies go. I'm fine w/ my Apollo, it's all metal, no tools, plenty of ports, panels in the right places. I've had it for a couple of years and it's holding up fine so far. The only things I wish it had was another pole across the top and a better way to clip things on to the vertical poles; fans, etc.
If total darkness is a must, get two tents and put one inside the other or build a room for it as passda suggests. If you get a Gorilla I'd be curious if it's worth it. Happy growing regardless!

I made one with 1x2 and panda but the staples have pulled through in multiple places over short time. I also need assembly and disassembly to be easy like a tent. My doorway and hallway is too narrow to bring my old set up in anyway.
Any ideas?
I have two 10'x10' sections of panda and all the 1x2 I need for two small cabs

No tent on the market iam aware of is completely lightproof. I have a 6x6x6 tent i use for breeding, quarantine, and new tester stuff and its upstairs in a spare room on its own light cycle. Tents are just not light proof enough to be messing with different photoperiods grows in the same room. At least in my experience.
