Light problems

First I should introduce myself. I have been lurking around for a couple months reading and learning. I only posted 1 time I think before this. There are a lot of experienced people here and I think I need some help. Has anyone bought the digital electronic ballasts from HTGsupply? I bought 2 600 watt ballasts with cool tubes from them about a month ago. And I have had 4 burnt bulbs! They have been real good at replacing them, but I think it has something to with the ballasts. I only handle the bulbs with nitrile gloves and wiped them first with alcohol wipes before installing them. The guys at the store have been real good about it so far and upgraded the bulbs everytime saying " we've had a shipment of bad bulbs". first it was a "growbright" then "agrimax" I am currently waiting on another agrimax and a sunmaster. I am also worrying about hermi ing my plants, with all the problems. right now they have been in the dark 2 days in the third week of flower. Does anyone have advise?

could it be that they sent you the wrong wattage ballast and it will continue to do this? check and make sure its a pair of 600 ballasts. good luvk

I did ask them if it could be the ballast. He said no it was just a a bad lot of bulbs, but it has happened with 2 different manufacturers so far. If it does happen with the third I will ask them to replace the ballasts. LoL I did look at the ballasts and yes they are 600 watt LOL.
Has any one used the digital electronic ballast from there? it doesn't have a brand name on it.

even if it was brand name the internals are prob mostly shared. my buddy made fun of my vtech cordless phone for 2 years until i was at his house and his sony cordless broke and he decided to fix it. boy did i get the last laugh when the bourd inside had the same model number on it and was made by vtech. your just having bad luck. it'll change

i have the 600 from htg. Ive been using it about a year and its worked great for me personally. The brand is Digital Greenhouse i believe.
