I have 150 watt hps at the moment and another on the way. Im on day 25 flowering with only one plant. Its gotta be close to 3.5 ft. My problem is the main stalk is out growing all the other branches. If i hang another 150 watt hps vertically, will this be enough light for quality buds? oh and I also have a couple t5's as side lighting. Each t5 is 24w so when i get my new hps ill have around 324-348watts of light. Will adding this new light have ay effect on my plants yield/health/quality?? thanks for the help!!

Adding the additional hps should increase bud density as well as production. If u hang it vertically however, u may want to consider turning the plant every day or so to kinda even out the production. Hope u got enough room for that plant in the end, it's gonna get pretty big.

Thanks for the wuick response. Yea its my only plant and my closet is about 4x7 and 10ft tall so i should be ok but it is getting BIG. Do you think i should hang the new hps differently? I open to any ideas. Sorry for no pics at the moment..

Idk... If it were me, i might just hang the other 150 right next to the other 150. U should definately check into at least a 400 watter if u got that kinda room to play with. I run a 400 hps on 2-3 plants at a time, right now its 3 but nonetheless, my closet is roughly 4wx3dx7h.... and i'm usin the clothes hangar-bar to hang the light so it's really like 5 or 6 feet in hight. U usin the 'magical $20 150?'

Oh ya, that reminds me... how tall was it when u started flowering? Mine seem to take the fork off during the first month of flowering, but then just pack on the weight! But they will get at least double the size they were when u began flowering, and they may even triple!

yeah it's for sure tripled in size. It was about 15in or so when I flowered. The new hps i odered is from econolight yes but the one i have now is the 150 watt sun system.
