light is hurting plants?

Hey riu,

I switched from a cfl set up to a 600 w yieldmaster II supreme hps to flower and about an hour after I had the light running, the plants looked like this.. I think the light was too close and was just cooking them. It was at about 2 feet above them and I moved it up to 4 ft above them.

Ok first this might be heat stress however I dontt really see burnt or drying leaves. It looks to me like its overwatered...

no that is definitely heat stress. it looks the same if you grow plants on cfls and try to bring them outside on a hot day. I would turn your hps on 2 hours the first day, keep using your cfls for the rest of the day. turn the hps on 4 hours the next day, the 8 the next day and finial 12 the next day. this will harden your plants off so they dont look like that.
