Hey guys i have a couple of quick questions i was hoping you all could help me with. In return for your help I'll promise some pictures later in the grow.
Part 1 If I have a 1000W ballast and get a 1000W metal halide bulb to I need anything else to operate it, I don't need a plug-in hood/lamp?
Part 2, i'm planning to have that 1000W MH in a 3x3x7 closet and I'm concerned that without a hood it will affect the temp of the plants too much. I just got the ballast and an open reflector, no glass screen or anything. I can't build a strong vent system around the whole closet. I'd be willing to drop my reflector for an air cooled one if anybody knew of any decently priced aircooled hoods that didn't have a plug on them. (If I don't need a good)
