I'm a newbie and have been confused by reading to much!

Any help would be great.

I'm going to be using a 250w hps light in a small area (101x50x40cm), fully mylar lined and the light is in a cool tube on rollers.

How high would you have the light and what cycle would you advise, I've got auto flowering feminised crop and I dont really understand if they will have a veg state or not etc etc, most of the info I can find does not cover AF strains.

Thanks guys, any help would be great.

The best lighting for an auto strain in my opinion is 20/4. Some people say 18/6, but I disagree from experience I have had better sucess with 20/4. Remember once you start a light cycle with auto they are different that photoperiod plants you don't change there light cycle at all. If you start with 20/4 you should end with 20/4. The light should be 18'' above your plant, but my rule of thumb is put your hand under the light where the plant is located if its to hot for your hand its to hot for your plant. Check out the forums grow journal there are many people who grew auto flowers and posted it in a grow journal. There journal can be a guide for how you should grow yours. Learn from there success' and there failures.
