light and cloning help

lighting

i got two 1x1x3 cuboards, and im planing to use scrog. moving the plants around would be kind of a hassle. im going to use 100w cfl for veg, and 150 hps for bud. i havnt bought a hps bulb yet, but what kind of fixture can it fit on? im hoping to just switch lights when they are ready to bud instead of moving the plants.

cloning

i dont got any extra space to keep a mother around so im just wondering if its possible to grow a plant til its ready to bud, take a clone, veg the clone and bud the orginal. then when the clone grows and it gets ready to bud as well, can take a 2nd clone of the clone? and will this 2nd generation clone be the same as the original or will its genetics be warped? if i can veg for 40 days and bud for 40 days, it will be in a perfect cycle and i dont have to worry about keeping a mother or planting new seeds.

forgot to mention watering
im going to have a pump that will send water into the medium constantsly. is that a bad thing? the nutrients will be more diluted but it will run constantly. is there a timer that would water my plants 5 mins every hour?

1 A 150 is small but, still requires a ballast. Ina box that size heat will be an issue I hope that you have a vent plan.

2 Yes you can take clones from veg plants before they go into your bloom box.

3 You don't say what you are growing but 40 days is pretty short for flower.

4 A few more details on your hydro plan would help to give you a good tip.

im making a home made hydro system from this tutorial
http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-build-hydroponic-system-inside-5-gallon-bucket-252846/

i got a 1 gal bucket, 30gph water pump, air bubbler. the water pump is going to just run up and run water into the medium instead of spraying at the roots. im going to be using hydroton, but if there is another medium that doesn't hold water at all i'd use that. i don't know much about nutrients still, so i'm going to buy a easy to use mix. i'm open to suggestions on this. since the water will be running constantly, diluting the nutrients more than normal is a good idea?

i got a small fan that will circulate the air. if heating is going to be an issue, i'll prolly downgrade to another cfl then. i'll upgrade later when i can afford it.

i did retard math to get 40 days, wit 5 days weeks. lol

so taking a clone from a clone from a clone... won't affect the genetics?

I have heard genetics can become unstable but I have taken clones from clones from clones without any trait changes.........so instead of an aero your gonna top feed???Why not just do dwc with that 5 gallon bucket....it will probably be simpler....all you need is a an air stone and a decent air pump.....no timers for anything but for your light...I strongly advise you to invest in a ph ppm combo unit.......it is vital to know the ph and nutrient levels in hydroponics.....I have a e-book on hydroponics if your interested......very interesting read pm if your interested.......
