Legends Ultimate Immortal

So ive got 30 LUI's- Legends Ultimate Indica popped and in pots.. The LUI is a cross between Spice of Life's famous Sweet Tooth#2 (Swt#3 daddy) from breeder Steve and Red of Legends Seeds Ortega Hashplant from Cali..
The plan is to run these out in coco to find a fat momma which will then be cloned and grown hydro on E/F tables..

Ive also got some sensi star to run and some magic bud, oh and 1 aurora indica..

I thought id mention the LUI is r.i.p due to the Sweettooth daddy being no longer available.. so im pretty stoked to be working with these..
Theyll be grown under 2x1000watt, maybe 3000watts..aircooled, sealed, co2.. there under some T5's atm

Man u got it in 1, there will be a seed run somewhere in between all this i got goin atm..open pollination after i get my clones

Umm the T5 fixture is a homemade jobby.. 8 x 4'.. 2 globes per ballast


I took the insides/ballasts out of a set of T5's and returned them back to the shop and got a refund,.. shifty i know but its a big hardware chain so im sure theyll survive.. then wired them up to an old wardrobe door..


these are the SS, MB and AI veggging for clones.. and some White Berry too, might chuck 'em in..

I love it!! Took the ballast and returned it That light is awesome, nothin better than homemade shit. Mother plants look healthy too.

So i think ive had the T5's a little too close for comfort, ive had it down about an inch off the tops of the LUI's, heat isnt a thing,..and i know alot of ppl say that theres no such thing as too close if heat aint a prob, but ill have to disagree..they looked uncomfortable, but hopefully we'll be right..
Anyways, backed the T5's off a bit and gave them their first feed @.4EC..(.6 total starting with .2 tap water)

ive grown lui's for three summers, you are in for a good one. it is one of the dankest of dank. i dont see it getting much hype but it deserves much. lui beets most any hyped strain ive ever tried. good luck and they like to feed a bit heavy. i talked with red and he said lui's would be available sometime in the future. in that respect i hope you are wrong. im not trying to argue but if your right youve got to send me a clone ok. thanks in advance... kidding peace you will enjoy these very much. when i contacted him to try to get some i was bummed not to get any. i tried to guilt trip him and say i knew he had a stash. but he said they would be back so im crossing my fingers.

and throw some outdoors if you can they shine in the sun. one of my top 5 faves ever. will be checking up on your grow good luck.

yeh it is a very under-estimated strain to the mainstream masses of peeps who keep companies like attitude going.. if u mentioned Red, Shanti or Nevil there like huh?.. but imo the LUI, DJ's gear and old SOL gear are very highly valued to ppl who know..ppl like u and me..
Theres other forums out there where strains like this are celebrated more, riu folks not so much..
Last i heard Red has left Legends, its now being headed by Wregends., and Koot who now runs SOL is making Swt#3 f2's so there is enough old seeds floating around for these old strains not to die.. but as for the original parents these will be the last ones..and seedboo just ran out of their last LUI the other day..
Breeder Dutchgrown has a LUI13, which is Legends lui bred for the Ortega pheno crossed to the G13, and backcossed again i think..
umm ill be makin a bunch of f2's man, i dont plan to let her die ever, so stay in touch

Subscribing to this one street, looks like a lot of fun. I hadn't heard of this strain, but with it's heritage can't be faulted and I'm excited to see how they turn out... Especially those f2 seeds

bummer i talked with red about 3 months ago ive done buisiness with him for years. and so steve is no longer running SOL either? it just gets worse and worse. ive grown his shishkaberrys outdoors years ago and the original sweet tooth both of which were great but in my opinion lui is still slight better. less trimming also.what happened to him? he was always good with customer service he gave me detailed feeding regimems when i asked for simple question. he is a legend in my book. you probly know then they like slightly heavy nutes. i did grow sweet tooth #3 but it didnt finish well in my area my friends still have a cut indoors it does better in there but it requires more trimming than the lui. good luck bro ill be watching your grow best of luck.

Um yeh Red had been having some family issues, like someone close to him was ill and maybe worse,..im not really sure of the exact details so id rather not specualate..although 'i think' he's still working on Legends 2010 releases, hes just not in the office anymore,.but u know how fast these things can change..
the 'tooth and was it the original Shiskas, oh man wot i wouldnt give.. got any old pics feel free to post 'em and contribute info bro..
ill be mos def getting some LUI outside,..my season is still a good 6+months away yet

sadly i have no pics of the shishkas or the sweetooth originals. i never even used a digital camera back then. i did have some i took with 35 mm but a friend developed them and most didnt come out. i do have a couple old pics for any doubters but id be hardpressed to know how to show them to everyone. i know most people like to say no pics it didnt happen but this was before the towers came down thats how long ago it was. i believe i grew shiskaberry in 2000. man time flies. i do however keep detailed records and still have them all. so if i can be a help ask away. i have lots of expiereince with LUI outdoors.and would still be growing it if it wasnt for a friend getting turned in by a fucked up girlfriend.he was the keeper of the mother. he dated the bitch for years and she turned him in when he threw her out. for all i know there is a local pig growing it now. this is the first year i have owned my own computer and finaly learned how to use a digital camera-you could say im a bit behind the times. peace. ill be keeping an eye on them LUIs. i cant tell you enough how fucking dank they are.
