Greetings All,
Welcome to my perpetual garden. I'll be using this thread to document my grows and will try to update it once a week. My goal is to consolidate my 10 years of knowledge into this thread and to hopefully help out anyone that's growing in coco. I encourage discussion and welcome any questions related to growing. Thank you and enjoy!
Strain Philosophy
I'm a lover of sativa's so I strive to have those varieties in my garden over anything else. I'm not going to hate on cookie crosses as I do enjoy a few of them but favor the older strains. I think it's worth trying a strain and gaining some personal knowledge and expanding my palate over not experiencing it and gaining nothing.

Strain Philosophy

Round 1 Strains
- (1) Apple Fritter (Lumpy's Cut)
- (1) SSSDH ("The Shire" cut aka Dr. Longbottoms cut)
- (1) GG #4
- (1) Garlic Cocktail #7 (Uprising Seed Co Breeder Cut)
- (2) Artificial Tears (Lambsbread x GAS MAC)
- (4) Lambsbread (My personal cut and breeding mother. Over 10+ years old)
- (2) Golden Hour (Lambsbread x Headbanger)
8x4 Setup
- 1000w HLG RSPEC Boards. I have 12 boards total running at 83.3 watts each
- 5 Gallon Root Pouch pots (Currently have one plant in a 3 gallon to test out yields compared to a 5)
- Canna coco
- Sump pump hooked up to Rain Bird adjustable manifolds
- 1/4" irrigation lines, one line per plant
- 6" AC Infinity Extraction Fan
- Can Fan Can-Life 420CFM Carbon Filter
- HydroLogic RO Filter feeding into a separate reservoir
- Pressure activated pump to feed water into the mixing reservoir
- Jacks Part A & B
- Epsom Salt
- MKP
- Real Growers Recharge
I switched to Jacks321 about a year ago and never looked back. There were two issues I noticed with the base nutrient formula which were the following:
- Mixing the nutrients was a pain in the ass compared to the liquid bottles
- Bud sizes were not as big compared to the liquid bottles
To make mixing easier I purchased three magnetic stirrers and 3" stir bars. One mixer for each part and this has made my life so much easier and is worth the investment.

To fix the smaller bud sizes I added MKP to the flower mix and that increased my bud sizes considerably.
