Hi, everyone!

I am growing in 60x50x160 cm closet under Migro 100 (Gen3 LED) and want to support it with LED stripes on the walls of the closet.

I would like to hear any suggestions on LED manufacturers and models as well as on placement of the stripes.

Thanks in advance!

Well at 60cm you're looking at either 280 or 560mm strips. I'd use EB gen 2/3 for their price and efficiency. Run them at 700mA and you can easily get away with just mounting them right to your Sheetrock Walls with thermal tape or some kind of "Command®" mounting hardware.

Like both suggestions, remember your walls are going to be real close so you need something with low intensity and big spread, which spells Buddies to me. But a decent alubased strip can be run on its own with no heat sink on low power which is also nice, buddies would need some support or alu backing unless you want to stick it directly to tent walls. But all in all, Buddies have their leds protected by a lens which means you dont have to worry about the leaves damaging the leds.

I grow in a wooden closet with walls covered by reflective foil. So moderate heat is not an issue.

Found this on the forum: https://www.rollitup.org/t/bridgelux-eb-gen-2-thermals.957453/ Going lower power will keep heat radiation low.
Its not a bad option they are quite cheap. Buddies will probably be better spread, you can even stick them inside the canopy and are a lot milder on the leaves in case you get some leaves touching. Look for the thread here in the led section.

Hello, everyone!
Thank you for your recommendations!

I have found following stripes in my local shops which are:
1. CREE 1200lm
2. Nichia (seller says made in Japan) 1400lm
3. Osram 1300lm
4. Samsung 1000lm
All are 10W and for the same price. That's best I could find.

So, question is which one to choose? Feeling tells me more lumens is better, but I would like to hear more opinions.
