A lot of leaves need to come off to get those bud sites you buried some light from the very beginning of 12/12. It's super important.
And I mean LEAF STRIP, guy. Do it to this extent. Use snips and leave 1/2" or more of petiole connected to the plant.

If you defoliate then start from the bottom. Dont overdo it unless you know your strain well. As aw16, do it right and awesome. Donit wrong, or to a strain that dont like abuse you could shock and even hermie if in flower.
