LED Pc Grow Box: White Widow, Kandy Kush

Alright, so this is going to be my second grow. First one didn't go too well from being away from the plant for multiple days at a time, however, this grow should go a lot better.

What I will be using:

1 Nirvana White Widow
1 Reserva Privada Kandy Kush
2 26w 5000k light bulbs for veg
2 27w 2700k light bulbs for flower
1 100w lighthouse hydrow blackstar LED (I don't know the actual running wattage, but this this is bright as fuck)
2 1 gallon smart pots

1 PC case 24.5" tall 16" wide 7.5" deep I believe

Nutrients
Maxigrow General Hydroponics
Maxibloom General Hydroponics
Koolbloom General Hydroponics

I will be starting the actual grow in about 2 weeks hopefully.

Now this is an attractive looking setup for a PC case! I am slightly jealous!

Do you have a link of where you got that LED lamp from? I could not find any decent lamps which could be contained sideways within a PC case, so that would be awesome.

Looks good to me! Have you grown using it before? I'd love to see what it's capable of.
Have not delved into the world of LED growing just yet, so I'm looking for others results with them.
And I'm also a sucker for a PC grow!

Haha, no it is brand new, I just got it yesterday. I am hoping it will work well with the 2 cfls. I dont have anything to measure the PAR or lumen output so, i will just find out how well it works with my final product.

I hope I only have to veg for about a month before everything is ready, I think I may do LST around the smart pot. I will also top it and see if I can clone the top, But just leave it in the PC case long enough to root and hopefully flower it with everything else, just to see how that goes, lol. Maybe I'll set up a different box for clones or something, Idk yet.

Does the LED lamp give off any heat? I noticed they have vents on the back of them, I've never really had the chance to mess around with them.

If your grow goes well, I think I'll invest in a nice LED lamp.

There is also a fan on the LED light. I am not too sure about how much heat it gives off because I only turned it on for the pictures. I move out in a week and a half so I will be able to start my grow once I am in my own place.

Well, as I mentioned before, I've subscribed to your thread, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes!

Alright, so this grow should be starting in about 1 week. I will germinate the 2 seeds on next saturday (13th) and hope for the best.

New stuff, I bought some new seeds from the attitude seed bank yesterday. The seeds I bought were:

5 x Green House Seeds Great White Shark Feminized ( had to, sharks are my favorite animal =])
1 x Dinafem Seeds Blue Widow
1 x G13 Labs Pineapple Express Feminized
1 x G13 Labs Blueberry Gum Feminized
1 x Reserva Privada OG Kush The #18 Feminized
And 8 freebies. I will now have plenty of seeds to last a while. I currently have 5 nirvana ww and just a few freebies. If everything goes well with my pc grow and the LED lamp works well, I may get a bigger grow box so I can grow 4 plants instead of just 2 at a time. I only bought one of those few seeds to try out a few strains I have heard good things about.

Sounds like a good deal there! How much was that in total?
What strain do you think you'll try first?

It was $127 including shipping. I think I will try the Great white and I am not too sure about the other one, I might try to do a grow when I have winter break so, I may be away from the grow for a while, so I might just end up doing a freebie with the Great white, I have an orange bud seed from my last order.

So I germinated the two seeds on monday night the kandy kush seed germed first and I planted it this morning. The white widow seed started popping and will be planted tonight.

The white widow still hasn't sprouted out of the soil. I hope it sprouts soon, I dont want the kk to be too much bigger than the ww. I took out one of the lightbulbs for now because the temps were at 90. It is hot where i live so once the temps cool off here i will put the other bulb back in.

Alright so the ww kinda got deformed, one of the first leaves was half roots so it wasn't sprouting out of the soil. I am now germinating 2 more ww seeds because I dont want the kandy kush to get too far ahead of the ww.

As you can tell this plant has not grown vertical at all lol. this led is bad ass

I just started giving them all nutrients, I didn't want to give the KK any nutrients until the WWs were sprouted.

this isn't my grow dude....but I wouldn't start using any nutrients until 2weeks old......just my 2 cents.... and if you are using RO or Distilled water - supplement with CalMag...other than that best of luck! will continue to watch this led grow....I am growing WW as well......check out my grow journal.....

Keep your leaves away from the soil, a mild soil disease is occurring near the bottom node. As the plant grows, remove these leaves to avoid the spreading of the disease.
