LED Panel Glows With Power Off

I have LED panels from 3 different companies (Chinese). I noticed that when the timer shuts off the lights there is a faint glow from one of them, the others are dark. All are connected to the same timer outlet. If I unplug the glowing light from the timer it goes off. Your thoughts on this?

I have heard from others about this phenomenon...many say if you are using a digital type of timer, it can bleed power even when off.
Get a mechanical timer for that one light, or a proven digital.

Money is on the hot and the neutral. Being switched.

But also depending on the type of relay used they have a leakage current and LEDs can run on such tiny current sometimes this is enough to light up a string or board of LEDs.

Bought an outlet tester, this is a 3 prong outlet but there was no ground connected, why I don't know, it's an older house. Moved to a properly grounded outlet and the issue resolved itself.

Hi I had same problem with 2-240watt kingbrite and 400 HP's on same circuit leds glow HPS nothing on pin timer went to a dule pole timer as the .8 of a watt measured with a voltmeter from - to + was enough to make that glow funny not many people check how the dark cycle is going

As was pointed out two posts above yours, the likely culprit is reverse wiring. The fact that you corrected the issue with a dual pole timer, further concludes that this is your likely issue. Fix your wiring bro.

Thanks so much for my problem fix I have been renting a house from the 70s had me fucked what was going on after lots of dollars spent that was my only fix looking in my walls the earth is just a bear copper wire thanks mate from Australia

I don't know too much about Aussie power, but generally speaking, you would just open up your wall plug and switch the hot and neutral wires to fix the issue.
