12 thousand dollars was spent on led lights to replace some hps light. the HLG 600W qbs. and from what i cant tell the plants grow like shit now. they dont perk up anymore. the bud development is soooo slow that u can barley even tell they are growing. ive never used leds before but i can tell the difference. and from what i can tell they are definitely not worth the investment so far. hell if i could id probably return these pos lights

sog method flood and drain clay pebbles. the last time i seen the plants stand up was under the hps and mh lights. even the mothers are droopy and slow growing now they did better under the T5 lights. they will be givin one chance to prove them self. Otherwise they will be on ebay cheap so if u want them ill let u know how they turned out in about a month

from being used to getting 35grams a plant from a 12 inch tall pant thats buds are so dense you could throw them throw a window, i can ttell they are alot slower at growing, you should throw up a 1000whps and see the difference. so basically its

spend 12k lights to go from 20lbs to 10lbs. and use half as much power...... its not worth it hps = weight and vigor.

led = shitty and expensive

is there anyone else in here that replaced their 1000wse hps lights with qb600 hlg lights? do you agree?

@SDK420 What are your temperatures and humidity throughout the grow. Every light can do well, or shitty, they all require different styles for optimum results.

You might also be giving to much light? What was your hanging heights and how were the lights arranged on center.

When you speak of the volume you are running the amount of details can be tiresome, but that doesnt mean all the details aren't important.

I'm sorry this transition has been rough on you during such a tough time for us all.

Are you trying to fix the issues you have been having or are you trying to move back to HPS because of this single flower cycle?

He’s growing 12” plants here man.
12 inch to 18 inch plant that normally weigh 35 grams a piece.the lights are about 18 inches above the canopy. they will be givin a 2 month run but from what i can tell in the past 3 weeks..... not looking good

sounds to me like there is something wrong - there is plenty of information all over the internet of people using HLG leds with excellent results.

I would start going through all your variables one by one and trying to figure what is different from what you used to get your HPS results.

You will need to increase your ambient air temp if using LEDs because they do not heat up the leaf as much as HPS resulting in a less than optimal leaf surface temperature. No Co2 your ambient should be around 84-86 F if using LEDs.
