Howdy Boys & Girls - Just curious to see your thoughts/feedback

I am seriously considering getting a flash, NEW LED Light!
... if you read the specifications/benefits .. you'd be mad not to by one!

* They use about 10-20% power of a standard light )Save money)
* The life expectancy of the globes are far greater! (Save Money)
* You can vary the light spectrum (Red, Blue)
* They run much cooler - less heat problems

... you see how LED is used in just about everything else today (cars, street lighting, etc) ... why not in grow rooms???

I have included this link ... just some reading

Your feedback/experiences would be appreciated

Thanks all! - Yous rock!

If you plan on doing a entire grow with led & u have a couple grand to spend i dont see why you wouldnt invest, search LED in riu many ppl have discussed this. I personally think hps is outdated & led is the new tech. But its expensive & most hps users will claim led sux bcuz they cant afford a decent led setup. I myself will be payn the xtra to reap the benefits led offes to the grow room :)

can someone PM me and recommend a brand/model for veg and flowering (1 light for both or 1 light for each veg/flo) in a 40"x40" hydrohut? I am currently using a 180W that isn't working very well for me unless i supplement with fluorescent lights.

True ... it is dear at the moment... but I'm still not 100% convinced you need to spend $1,000's
I spoke to a friend in electronics .. he argued, it is not so much the quality of the LED blub ... rather the correct arrangement/balance of the different spectrums (red, blue & orange)

Keep you posted ...
