Leaves Curling - Help Appriciated

i am a first timer and am about a week into my vedge stage. I noticed that some of the leaves have been curling inward on the top. Not all of the plants are doing it and im not sure what the problem is.

My best guess is that i am running too much light on them. I am running an air cooled 1000w light at 24 inches away. I raised the light a few more inches but i don't want to decrease my lumens too much.

I'm going to try and post a picture of what some of them are doing. I want my first time to be a success so any help is greatly appriciated.

thank you

It's not from too much light, it's likely from the heat off the light, not the light output, itself. It looks alot like heat stress, but, I've had problems with low PH that caused problems that looked the same. Hmmm....have you fed it anything, and if so...was the fert mixture PH adjusted, before you used it? When I had the problem with low PH, I had just started using a new fert, was a lazy-ass, and never checked the PH. Doh!

Set a thermometer on your pots and see the temp. If it's much above 85 with low humidity, you need to increase cooling or move that light back.

I am using the Foxfarm Ocean Forest soil in 1 gal mesh bottom buckets and a flood tray. I have a thermometer at just above plant tip level and our records have never shown the temperature above 77.5 F and an average temp between 74 and 75. The humidity has been an average of 44%. Our tap water Ph is over 8 but we use Ph down until it settles at 6.0 we have not fed the plants any extra nutrients other than what the soil provides. Our soil Ph averages around 6.75.
