Leave in dark for a week end of cycle

So my girls will be ready to harvest at the same time ive got an opportunity to go on vacation. My question is can I leave them in darkeness for a week? Or maybe even longer? And then when I come back I can chop and dry?

Yes you can leave them in the dark, I've done it plenty of times without any problems I just keep the fan running, be careful they don't dry out.

You’ll need to make sure the soil/medium doesn’t dry out in that time.

otherwise your plants will begin to wither and die and flop around etc.

Got ya. If I drench the soil that should be ok right? As the light will be off so won’t be using it up as quick?

The plants still drink during dark cycle.

only you will know if it will work.

how often do you need to water now during normal growing?

Well if they’re ready to harvest why not just let them start to die/dry out while you’re gone, then hang them to finish when you come home?
