Leafs look odd help

When I water I'm only giving it a liter of water and it's once every three or four days I'm wondering if the verculimite or however you spell it is holding more water then I think in the middle of the pot because when I water it is dry as far as I can stick my finger in what do you suggest I should do?

The light is 17 inches away that's what I don't get it's plenty far. But I'll try it

Vipars put off more heat than some of the others. I have a kind k5 750 and a vipar 300 the 300 puts off far more heat. I'm around 28 to 30 inches from canopy and my ladies are living it. When the light was closer the new growth was coming in weird. They're all flowering now. Good intensity light will penetrate without being too close to the canopy.

No problem good luck with the grow. Less light distance, less water and nutes is always better than too much. Always remember less is always more!
