Leaf damage

I'm probably freaking out for no reason but this damage appeared on a few of my leaves outdoors. It was a teen that I planted outdoors on June 11th. I have not given it any nutrients accept 1 feeding of Og tea I picked up the other day. The first feeding was on the 4th of July. I don't think it had anything to do with the tea as I fed it a very light feeding. If anything I believe there is a deficiency. My other thought is that maybe I went too heavy on the neem. I noticed a day after I sprayed, there was a build up of this bronze sap looking stuff on the same leaf I have below. I'm not sure if it's possible to overuse neem or not. That is why I am here. Any feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you all.

Looks like either mites which I think the neem would have got or cal mag def. Did you add any lime or when you transplanted? Water with Epsom salt at 1 tbs/g if not.

Looks like the start of a calcium and magnesium Def. Give them a water with calmag also mix some epsom salts into the soil around the plant before you water

thank you guys for the input. I was not sure if i needed to add calmag to the water because i am using city water. the ppm is 200 on the dot. ive been using the "less is more" approach this year, so i assumed it was a deficiency of some sort.

as for the mites, i have not been too happy about the spotting but ive been watching my leaves like a hawk with my scope. i want to see one so i can make sense of this and take care of it early, but im just not seeing them.

Outdoors, just a few leaves with some weird shit, I wouldn't worry about it at all. Only worry when things progress across to different leaves not stopping showing you there is an actual problem, couple leaves.. eh.. who knows what happens out there when youre not around. I wouldn't go dumping all kinds of products on them without being SURE.

Leaving it to see if it progresses imo ain't the thing to do ..catch it early on 1st sign be for its gets beyond repair

My plan was to feed it water and a light cal mag dose with nothing else. Only once to see if it stops spreading. I won't need to water for a few days anyway, so I may end up changing my mind and not add anything if it does not progress.

Yes, but you have to be sure what you're dealing with before you can treat it.. no?
So if nobody can identify exactly what is the issue, if any even exists, then I say better not go dumping all kinds of products on plants playing a guessing game.

Yes and no to be honest. .there is enough information on ere and other places to pin point a problem before it is to late

From her first post moving down.... I was trying to calm her that is all, no need to freak out on first sign of some weird leaf ya know and start dumping all kinds of products , ESPEcially outdoor.. but I hear you I hear you.

If CalMg makes you feel better go for it, it's fine, I hope it helps!
It doesn't fall into 'dumping all kinds of products' category for me.

Calmag and epsom salts is fine to be honest it's not an over load on anything it just helps plants heal if anything is wrong ..gives them a chance and won't cause anything bad in the plant

I understand what you're saying, and like I said I'm definitely a huge believer in less is more. I forgot to mention that since I have posted this it has spread to more leaves somewhat rapidly. I plucked the really damaged leaves and put some Epsom and a light feed of cal mag plus mixed with a gallon of water. We will see if we have a cal mag deficiency before too much longer.

I have hard well water @ 250 ppm and I Still need cal mag lol. If it's one or 2 leaves don't stress. I agree with johnei here. Guy knows his stuff and has helped me a time or 2. I think you probably got it in time. And if you have a cal mag problem you probably won't much longer.

It won't repair the leaves but it should stop it from getting worse and new growth should be fine
