Day 71 of 12/12
GrimmDogg x Island Chill on day 71 from the flip. Shes got about another week or so before I pull her. By the looks of it could've used one more top dressing to see her thru.
20230708_225651.jpg
4 Lemon Tree Punch in the front. Didn't get to transplanting them in time and almost lost them but alas they are now in 1 gallon bags and starting to perk back up. These are on day 15 since they dropped in the shot glass. Two clones in the back are of Apple Blossom and an unknown, but known strain. Dude keeping my mom of Apple Blossom found a single seed from a trio of Kush Mints, Grape Cheesecakez or Gelatti (ounce of each). Popped the seed and turned out female. Waiting on dry and smoke test so we can label it finally lol.

Finally we get to Apple Blossom!! This strain ive ran before from seed and long story short my buddy almost lost the mom he was keeping for me. Took about 4 months to get her back to health and i finally got my clones back. Ran her 68 days of 12/12 from seed first round and pulled her at 64 this round. The two clones taking up one half of the scrog screen netted me just over 5 ounces. Larger leaf plucking and then Dried over 7 days (tried new spot in my house and was able to stretch it further than my typical 5 day dry lol). Trimmed and bagged in a grove bag and its been holding steady at 59% humidity. The larger bed and more frequent topdresses really served her well this round. I think ill keep her around a little while.

I'm loving the rice hulls as mulch too. When you top dress do you remove them, or just mix into the soil/dry ammendments & then add new rice hulls on top?

Killin it as always over there!

Thank you Duke!!
I have just been pushing all the rice hulls to the side, topdressing and moving them back. Sometimes I'll get too much dirt mixed into the rice hulls mulch layer. If that happens I just add some more rice hulls on top to keep it looking fresh lol.

Day 72 12/12 GD x IC
Day 18 from seed LTP

She's a lil ugly but she's still going.
20230714_224545.jpg

A lil sampler of some Apple Blossom.
20230714_221506.jpg

The 4 Lemon Tree Punch's after about 12 days in root riot cubes were fast starters. Withing 24 hours from seeds in the water to popped above soil. Very impressed. Last weekend they looked on the way out so transplanted into 1 gallon with my Coots mix. Topdressed some Kashi Blend, craft blend, ewc and watered in with some aloe water. Covered with a layer of rice hulls and put back in the cab. The two clones Apple Blossom (hopefully.. there may have been some confusion as the old man don't label anything lol; might be Gorilla Skittlez lol) and then the other mystery one from the sole seed found all got the same treatment except in 2 gallon pots and a cover crop put down.
20230714_221235.jpg
The seedlings are definitely bouncing back. Number 2got some weird skinny leaves that look twisted and ruffled at the node. She took the ride in the cubes the worst. But she's still growing so we'll see. Plan is to mainline every one of them and fit th in the big cab as uniform as I can get it. I liked the mainline from the pilot run and the scrog definitely produced for me but was way too stressful trying to manage. Especially with the GD x IC!! She grew almost a foot above the screen, twice! The top that I gave off this plant to my pops was about 6 1/2 foot in a 5 gallon SIP. Went over and supercropped it a couple weeks ago. Really opened the canopy up.

Well I guess I had couple hiatus last grow. A lot of time figuring out and really dialing in the cabinet. Being able to control everything I think made a big difference this last grow and Apple Blossom was proof because she thrived this round. I'm excited for this round. So hope you'll stick around and enjoy the show haha.

Cheers

Day 26 from Seed

Everybody seems to have settled in to their new homes nicely. 4 Lemon Tree Punches are a few nodes shy of getting their first top to start the mainline process. Still waiting on number 2 to show me if it's gonna be the long slender leaves she started with.
2 clones are doing great and thriving as well.

And finally cut down this gnarly girl a couple nights ago. She just stretched the entire grow. Ran short on her feeding to get her thru but she made it and the cabinet hath provided.

Tried my best to untangle her and chopped her into portions. Don't wanna risk mold, even bent some branches just to get them away from other colas haha.

Cheers!

Number 1 LTP is the standout one so far that I like based on its structure. Number 3 is about double the size of 1 and its buried deeper in the 1 gallon. 3 was a stretcher from seed, just up up up. Lol.

Nice wide fan leaves, deep serrations, I like it all so far.
Number 2 still the oddball of the bunch.

Cheers!

Day 36 from Seed

all 4 of the LTP got the snip this past week. I topped 1, 2 and 4 at the 4th nodes and the big girl number 3 got topped at her 3rd. Number 2 is lagging behind. Probably could've waited a few more days to top her but oh well. Soil got some amendments mixed into top 6 inches of soil, EWC, cover crop, Kashi and barley mulch. Got upside down plastic propping the plants up because soil got a tad warm for using the fabric pots as place holders. Soil has cooled down quite a bit and back to normal. Might give them another few days to a week before transplanting into the bed.

A couple before the pruning pictures and haul on the Grimm Dogg x Island Chill. 152g total in the Grove bags.

Ran the numbers and got 1.03 g/w with running the Vipar Spectra P1500 (x2) at full tilt for a good portion of Flower.

Cheers!

Day 9 of 12/12

Stretching up and up every day. #1 finally hitting her stride. #2 (had really slender leaves in seedling stage) is just now starting to stretch. #3....I took cuts of her lol. #4 is a little skinny on her mains but she's stretching nevertheless.

Day 18 of 12/12

so uh...#3 and 4 out grew the cabinet lol. Top trellis to the lights is about 18 inches. Number 3 had 7 out of 8 mains very close to the lights and #4 had 3 of its mains almost to the same height. Supercropped all of those mains just above the top trellis, a good 16 inches of top on most of them, and laid them flat. Next day had all turned up AND stretched more. Number 1 and 2 still stretchin

#1 uneven manifold. Broken twice during veg :dunce:
20231004_235438.jpg
most of the lowers that were at the first trellis at time of the flip have stretched to above the top trellis

Day 20 of 12/12

well, #3 was into the lights again at lights on. So more supercropping needed to be done. Also went thru and gave a good plucking of any leaves blocking bud sites. Made some head room for the plants by getting rid of my hurricane clip fans and putting an ac infinity oscillating fan in the gap left by the runt.

20231006_195056.jpg20231007_003125.jpg20231007_003332.jpg
this main said "absolutely not, I'm not laying down for nobody" lol. Cracked that knuckle and stretched right back up
20231006_195635.jpg
Another knuckle and lower looking like trichs are starting to coat the leaves.

Most of number 3's main have been supercropped in multiple places due to the amount of stretch she had. On top of that, I've had to tie down the lateral sections to keep them from straightening out at the knuckle. Took a couple cuts off of her a few weeks into the flip and rooted them. They're off in the little cabinet doing the slow shuffle back to veg.

Everybody else is doing well. Nice and healthy. Topdressed last weekend with some Gaia Green Power Bloom, ewc and Kashi. Worms are still doing their thing in the bed.

20231017_233946.jpg20231018_202109.jpg20231018_202524.jpg20231018_201646.jpg

Number 2 is def different than the rest of the three, who are all similar to one another. Smell is more of a creamy lemon but something funky on the backend. The rest of them have a sharp zesty lemon gassy notes. Trichs are growing in numbers everyday. And it's greeaaaasy. Having to stick my arm thru the big girl to tie some branches down, my hair was slicked back on my arms lol.

Day 45 of 12/12
