Late start Somango Raport.

Hello all. This is my first post. I have been reading the annals of Rollitup for some time and believe it is my time to tune in to the community.

So I procured a clone from a medicinal dispensary, its strain: Somango. I didn't know a whole lot about growing to begin with, but after a bit of reading i feel a bit more educated.

I decided to go with a single plant --knowing it was a female-- for my green thumb audition. It came in some rock wool which I planted directly into organic potting soil mixed by my local garden store (no nutrients added). Approximately two weeks after planting into initial small pot I transplanted to a four gallon pot with a intricate cocktail comprised of previously mentioned potting soil, worm castings, and pearlite. I had the time, and the inspiration at the time of the transplantation, so I created varied layers. I cannot remember the exact composition of each layer but it was something like this:

Y
=====TOP=====
=30% pearl 65% potting 5% worm (4-5 inches deep)
=70% worm 30% pearl (one inch layer)
=25% pearl 70% potting 5% worm (to the bottom)
=a layer of broken up bamboo skewers (don't ask) broken
up into fragments for drainage.
====BOTTOM====

CURRENTLY it has been 27 days since planting clone and the leaves that have grown since seem to be waxier and larger while the bottom ones appear to remain unwaxy and small (and a little brown from initial foil burn).

For lighting, I have been using basically all I could get my hands on given my budget. I am using a flor desk lamp and a 1' portable flor tube. The desk lamp is more orange-ish while the tube is more blue-ish. I just today added a 53w CFL I plan to upgrade to 400w MH asap (this a good idea?).

I water pretty randomly. I tend to pay too much attention to it and end up watering it just out of the desire to give it TLC. I use brita filtered water and plan to buy a PH kit shortly (get paid friday). I shaped the soil like a mound and water around the edge of the pot.

I do not use nutrients at this point but am curious as to how i should start.

Personally, I feel it looks like my lady has stretched out due to poor lighting, maybe? I really want/need that MH. I read somewhere that i can bend the top of the plant back down and bind it to make more bush. Will this help my situation? Also, I wanted to know if I should top it.

Thank you if you actually took the time to read all of this. I will attach the pictures in chronological order.

with clones you know you are getting a female(or whatever the sex was of the plant that was cloned) you also know how the bud is going to taste, when to harvest and you can also flower from clone, oh and no need for germinating and risking that the seed wont pop.

bending it is a technique that allows sunlight to reach places where sun wouldnt get to normally, look up super cropping and lst, btw nice plants ^^
