Last two batches of clones turned brown (leaves) and wouldn't take

Could someone give me some insight? I've done successful clones in the past without this issues and with almost 100% rooted.

I am working with different strains now, any ideas why the leaves start turning brown and clones won't root?

Maybe too much humidity?

The brown doesn't start on the tips of the leave but in the middle where the head is..... BROWN HEAD CRUD OF DEATH!

Could be to much humidity or not enough air movement. Clones do require some air circulation to stay healthy. Is your clone box totally sealed?

Yeah, I kept the lid on during my successful clones in the past. Just raised the lid to mist them, done that until I seen roots.

Hygiene problem, Sterilize scissors/blade and wash hands before starting, also use dist water(dip in after cutting) to make sure its not a problem with the water aswell.

Here is what it looks like. Advice?
I may be wrong here but how much do you cut when you're taking your clones. Unless there has been some plant growth, that seems like a big cutting. I cut low on the plant and use the newest branches. The rooting hormones are stronger in the lower part of the plant. I take about three leaves down on the new branch.I cut the lowest two sets of leaves off dip it in my gel and put it in the soil. I know you said that you've cloned in the past and I hope you'll excuse me if I've told you something that you already know, just throwing this out there for what it's worth.

Here you can sort of see what size clones I take

the whole leaf and stem
take it up to 1-2 nodes from the terminal shoot
I would trim the funky one...
