large adjust-a-wing with super spreader

i just bought a large adjust-a-wing with a super spreader. will this be enough for a 8x8 with 7 girls in 15 gal pots? i have another adjust-a-wing but 600 watt which can be turned into a 1k. i have currently a sunsystem hood 1k hps (i hate this hood to heavy and just over all sucks) and a wing medium with 600 watt mh super close to plants "i love it" and it doesnt get hot!! temp is a problem for me right now in the room. so what should i do? if i can run two wings at 1k with temp staying low that would be awesome!

your adjust a wind does not get hot? I recntly saw one of these in craigs list and i want to put one my cooltube. But if they dont get hot, nice. Does it loook like it can attached to a cooltube? My 8 inch has screw on the top to attach the wings it came with. So if I could drill holes in the top, along the middle it would work nice.

You need ac to keep the temps down or the best you can do is get to equal out to the room or tent temps. I have the same prob and have to use my house air at an ulta low setting to get to the room! OW

no it does not get hot i can have it running for 4 hrs and place my palm above the bulbs location and it wont burn! i got my 600 watt mh 11 inches from the plants i got to admit i really like 600 with a wing! im sure you can get the reflector to attach to a cool tube, i reccomend just using the wing! as for temps i got it at 79 and night time is 69 :)
