Lace bugs and whitefly, oh me oh my!

Okay, been gone from here for a while. right now, i am finishing up my summer grow, but have a lace bug (not lacewing) and whitefly issue.
i also have neem and insect soap, i want to use one of these, but i am halfway done flowering and don't want to affect the taste.
the last few years, i usually manage to control the infestation manually, but i may need to bust out the stuff, what should i use?

today i did a light spray of neem, but then stopped for fear of funky taste.

dam that's a big ass main cola on that 1 on the left of the pic, nice. try garlic spray? i use this on vegging plants but have'nt tried it on flowering plants. not sure if it can hurt flowers or affect taste.

i would say neem oil just mix it well with water

Your grow appears small enough that mosquito netting or the like would fit over it. You can use ladybugs to eat the whiteflies and eggs if you can keep them around. Netting will help.

I think I've battled fungus gnats a lot, but the same solutions should work, usually using a couple of tactics at a time should work. I am a recovering chronic over water-er and was only able to get rid of them using BT-i (mosquito dunks) in my water that is applied to soil. Here are the solutions I've encountered:

To get the flying/adult ones:
-sticky fly paper
-smash with hands
-high level of CO2
-run ozone generator in sealed area
-set a trap of sweet liquid (Neem + water + sugar, among many combos)

To prevent them from breeding and hanging around:
-let plants dry out before watering
-cover soil with women's hose/nylons, lawn fabric, plastic, sand, perlite, etc. to prevent the adults from laying eggs in the soil
-add BTi (mosquito dunks) to watering solution to kill off larvae

To rescue an infested bunch of buds:
-tweezers and a magnifying glass, don't leave the legs behind
-make a tincture with vodka to sanitize
