LA Ultra, Afghan from Hydro to Soil

ahh had to shut my hydro project down for a while
so tried soil for the first time
using subcool method

strains: world of seeds afghan kush
resin seeds LA ultra

nutes: fox farm 2 part, epson salt, bat guano, plant success

light: t5 for veg 400 w hps for flower



started with 3 LA ultra fem plants
and 1 afghan kush

1 LA was a dud another a male =( thanks alot resin seeds
anyways on to the pics







im harvesting this week

the LA is a real mutant plant i have never seen buds like this ever. the buds are so fat that the plant will snap it self in half without support

the afghan is growing just like it always does so stable and easy to grow with high temperatures and not picky with nutes. i would def. recommended this strain for a beginner.

I did wet weight X .7 to get a estimate of of yield for this plant
I'm expecting at least 3oz

wooooo another harvest!!!

this is my third time growing afghan kush
but i never had it turn purple on me

doing the temp drop really worked

got a nice yield with this one

about 4 oz by estimation

i have grown the blue cheese. its a very picky plant but the smoke is good

i turned the ac to about 73 the last few weeks of flowering
the plant was already sort of turning lavender on some fan leaves
then I put it under 32 hours of darkness under that temp before harvesting
seemed to do the trick
