LA confidential?

What's up guys.. I need some feedback regarding this particular strain. Here's the deal. A friend of mine is growing 2 plants. One is LA confidential and the other is Afghan kush. They were both put into flower about 3 weeks ago. The la confidential is stretching like crazy, but won't flower. Yet the Afghan kush is moving right along. Thoughts? Looking at the pics. The left is the la and the right is the kush.

Strange, isn’t LA Confidential an Afghan BX? I am starting an LA confidentical cross and just Read that there are 2 phenos. 1 is squat and the other is bushy. What ended up happenin?
