Kitty litter box SOG

Thinking of starting an SOG in a kitty litter box but not sure how to do it. I understand the basics of it but not sure what to put the rockwool cubes in to keep them out of the water. Do you just set them in the water or use something to keep them out of it and just allow the roots to dangle?

Thanks Dadio161. I decided to go ahead with a DWC using 4 gallon tubs. I have 6 seeds that just germinated over the weekend. 3 Sensi Star and 3 Blueberry. I am going to put two of each in three different tubs. I am using 2 hydro-grow cfl lights 200 watts each and 2 cfl 60 watt lights at this moment. I have had success with a chocolate chunk so far she is looking good. I will post pictures here in a few. Just got to take them. Any Advice that I can get would be most appreciated.

You should try and move those lights a bit closer. CFL efficacy drops off pretty quickly. As long as they aren't too hot I would try and get them as close as possible. Other than that you look to have some very happy plants. Keep it up
