Kind bud?

what the hell does the term "kind bud" mean? I was watching "it's always sunny" when it came up in an episode and it reminded me of this term. I always thought it was a term for the uninitiated, like when a cop says "cool" or something, it's just awkward. Anytime I heard someone say "kind bud" I always cringed and kinda felt embarrassed for them if you know what I mean. Anywhos, I'm sure it's an actual term for a way weed was grown in the olden times of the 60's or whatever. Clear it up!

I know the episode. I know it means good weed at least haha. Could be a coincidence but I kind of think its a hippy term, which relates to the episode as well. Grateful dead-uncle johns band "woah-oh what I want to know, is are you kind?" Could be a likely origin or reference, I always related it that way anyway. "Kine" bud from Hawaii sounds solid too. Who knows..

Kine bud aka kind bud is usually the term used for high quality cannabis when the genetics are unknown. Heady cannabis would be genetic/name specific.
My personal general rating system given the weed fits the profile.

Super Heady - Info on: Breeder, strain, pheno, medium
Heady - Strain info is known and popular
Kind Bud - Unknown genetics, good weed. Grown as a specific strain, seller just does not know what it is.
Mid - Looks and smells like reg but no seeds
Schwag - Mexico brick

Lots of mid being passed off as heady here in CO.

Kind bud was always used back in the day till now with the older crowd in my area for weed that hit you right and took care of the needs of the moment leaving you feeling great during and after...
